Shipping
Your sugar, butter, chocolate order is packed with love. Many people assume that packing and shipping are done by robots zipping around in a gigantic warehouse. Here at sugar, butter, chocolate every order is checked, prepared, and packed by hand with love and care. Here’s a look at the journey a box of our sweets takes from our shop to your front door. Every order is made fresh so expect delivery or shipping 24-48 hours after ordering. We do not ship Friday-Sunday as our shipping carriers tend to take longer to deliver your items on these days and we want your product to arrive as fresh as possible!
Your Sweets Journey
When You Place Your Order:
Once you place your order you will receive an email from us confirming your order.
We then check:
the destination’s weather to determine the best shipping speed (Hot weather and chocolate are NOT friends)
the shipping method you chose is suitable for the destination (making sure our shipping partners will get your goodies to you in 3 days maximum)
Depending on the factors above, we may need to make changes to your order so please keep an eye out for an email from us.
Packing it for Success
Once we have sorted out any potential issues with you, we start baking your cookies, handpicking and packing every single item in your order.
We pack your order with safety measures to ensure that your goodies make it to you, just as perfect as they were when they left our shop. From ice packs to heat protective wrapping and lots of bubble wrap.
Shipping Your Order
Once your order is packed we take it to our shipping partners making sure that you goodies get shipped out that day and make it to your door as soon as possible. We don’t ship on Fridays or on weekends as products tend to sit too long with the shipping carriers and don’t end up at your door as fast as they should or in the condition we want them to be.
Once you get your package make sure to open up your goodies and check for instructions on how to properly store all of your goodies!
